For the first game of the day, this game is turning out to be both spectacular and entertaining. With the sun out and the Houston weather acting right, it’s the perfect combination for baseball. The match-up between Tennessee University vs. Rice University looks like it's going to be a sweep. This is given the fact that by the sixth inning, Tennessee University led way ahead of Rice University in terms of runs. By the top of the sixth inning the score was 9-1. Rewinding things, when you look at the first inning, Tennessee University scored the first three runs at the top half of the first inning. Rice University was able to score one run right after.

At the top of the second inning, Tennessee University was able to score another 4 runs. Neither team scored in the third inning only for Tennessee to score another run at the top of the fourth and sixth innings. Rice University was unable to score a run after its first in the first inning. By the seventh inning, this game looked bleak for Rice University, as this game seems to be a reminder of the loss they suffered yesterday at the hands of Mississippi University.

The bottom of the seventh was a good inning for Rice University as they scored two runs, nut unfortunately it wasn’t good enough. This is because Tennessee University scored another three runs in the eighth inning bringing the score up to 12-3, then scoring another run upping the score to 13-3.
