A Country On Edge

Victims of the Texas Allen Outlet Mall mass shooting that killed 8 people and wounding 7 other people.

Nowadays it seems as if the entire country is on edge. mass shootings to people haphazardly shooting people for simply knocking on their door all the way to people recklessly driving cars into crowds of people and mowing them down like a bulldozer to a dirt berm. These actions and more have people from all walks of life asking the same question: what in the world is happening in our society?

It is no secret that society has changed. Remember when you could leave your screen door open and let the gentle breeze of spring and the summer nights coast through your home - well those days are over and have been over for a very long time and have no intentions of coming back.

The truth of the matter is that people are simply fed up with the status quo of the current society. From having to be forced to accept transgendered people and having to be forced to accept gay people; with men no longer being able to be men and with women acting like men it is of no wonder why things in our current society are the way they are. It seems as if the social balance is off and with us being so far gone and removed from traditional families and values things appear to be getting worse with each passing day.

Teen Ralph Yarl was shot and died as a result of his injuries because he mistakenly knocked on wrong door as he was attempting to pick up his younger twin brothers.

Again, people are on edge. The world economy is trash and small to medium sized banks are going bust. People can hardly keep up with their past levels of living while inflation has led to shrinkflation and job wages are not only stagnated; but are failing to keep up with today’s economic times. With uncertain economic conditions ahead, there’s simply no telling what people will do if they feel like they’re “losing it all” or are stressed to the point that they suffered some sort of mental or psychotic breakdown.

In America, firearms are a hot button topic that is not only polarizing but freezes law makes in perpetual deadlocks.

Just this past week there was another mass shooting in a Texas shopping mall bringing this year’s mass shooting number to over 200 with no end in sight. And right on cue the politicians address the public with a crappy apology which is almost always followed by no solution to solve a public problem. In fact, the CDC Center for Disease Control labeled firearms a public health and safety risk. Moreover, even with that said; another kid had the audacity to bring a firearm to an American Public School.

It looks like there’s nothing else to give so people look like they are giving into the dysfunction of simply living with no solutions in sight.
