It was reported that Ansar Allah also known in America as the “Houthis” have successfully launched what they deemed as a hyper sonic missile that struck Tel Aviv, Israel earlier this week. This is seen as a huge victory for the supporters of Ansar Allah. While Israel has declared that Ansar Allah will pay a “heavy price” for their strike on Tel Aviv, the fighters of Ansar Allah appear to be unbothered by the retaliatory threats made by Israel. Israel on the other hand made a press statement stating that the missile that was fired from Ansar Allah was not a hypersonic missile because it lacks the key material components to meet the minimum requirements to be a hypersonic missile. Hypersonic or not, this missile fired from Yemen and covered 1,240 miles/2,000km in roughly 1 minute to strike Tel Aviv.
Although the missile closely resembles the Iranian medium range ballistic missile system, Iran has not claimed any responsibility for either passing the design of the missile into the hands of Ansar Allah or the attack. It should also be noted that Israel's “Iron Dome” missile defense system could not provide any defense from the incoming missile. This sent the citizens of Israel into a panic – and for many people around the world that are against Israel’s genocide against Gaza, the collective induced panic this was seen as great news. The reason for this is because for the first time in a long time, the Israel “Settlers” that have invaded the land of what used to be southern Lebanon were afraid to reoccupy the land in which they essentially stole from Syria.
According to reports coming out of Israel, the missile that was fired by Ansar Allah out of Yemen was partially deflected by their Iron Dome missile defense system. But at the end of the day none of that seems to matter because what matters is that Ansar Allah has successfully demonstrated that they are willing to take decisive action against the Israelis while other Arab countries are not. This missile attack by Ansar Allah has elevated their organization from a simple Yemenis militia to a recognizable major player within the region.
What lends credence to this statement is because of the actions of Ansar Allah launching this missile, the US Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier was forced to turn around in the region. The action taken by the United States to turn the US Roosevelt around can be perceived in a couple of ways. The first perspective is that the United States was legitimately scared and tucked its tail and ran. The second perspective could be that it was sending a signal to the Israelis that it did not want to be involved in the matter, especially with missiles of the type being involved, and thus vacated the region. Either way, it's not a good sign for Israel.
