If there was a game that was to be called “the game to watch” during the course of the 2025 Cactus Jack HBCU College Classic it would be biggest rivalry of the series Prairie View A&M vs. Texas Southern university. These two universities have been at it for decades. Competing in everything, but more specifically when it comes to sports. The fans from both teams really showed up and showed out as this was the last game of the 2nd day of the cactus jack HBCU classic.
Besides being a very entertaining game between the two rivals that led to lots of heckling and shouting, it was also a very challenging game. When it came to batting, both teams had some very good hits, but the defense from both teams in the field was just as strong. With Prairie View A&M scoring runs in the first and fifth innings while Texas Southern University scored runs in the second inning (2) and one at the bottom of the ninth inning, it was nothing short than a really close games that’s leaving fans of Prairie View A&M wondering if they will do better against Texas Southern University next year.
