Can We Reverse Global Warming?

Can we reverse Global Warming? Can the elimination of carbon emissions be truly achieved? Addressing the first question, Global Warming is real, but it may not be as real in the conventional sense. In order to understand the environmental issue of Global Warming you must have some kind of understanding of systems theory. Like it or not, the entire earth and everything external to it, plays a part in the operation of our solar system. In short, what we are telling you is that all things are interconnected. On the surface, the earth is heating up because of the inability to control carbon-based emissions and generally failed pollution practices. But the earth is only warming up not simply as a response, but to establish a sort of planetary equilibrium or “planetary balance”.

The notion that we are going to save the earth from our mistreatment of it is foolhardy logic. We are taking this position because the earth has been around exponentially longer than humans have been in existence and therefore is fully capable of managing itself without the need for human intervention. Put another way, the earth doesn’t need humans to survive – we need the earth. Without humans this rock we call “earth” will continue to spin in space until the sun exhausts all its fuel and decides to either blow up and retire or cool off to the point of absolute freezing. Either way it’s lights out for us.

The issue of the Earth heating up should be seen as the inherent default conditions of the earth adapting to the activities of humans. With the push for going “green” since the 1960’s and 70’s, it's done very little to help our continued existence on earth. The reason for that is because we as humans like to be comforted, entertained, and we love convenience. And in order for that to take place we need cheap energy. That means fossil fuels and oil. It’s a necessary evil. Although, developed countries around the world are taking a more environmentally friendly approach by attempting to decrease their carbon footprint – it will be underdeveloped countries that will be continuing to perpetrate the past techniques of industrialization of the more developed countries. In short, underdeveloped countries will be forced to play catch up – perpetually.

Thus, this leads us to the second question. Can the elimination of carbon emissions be truly achieved? The short answer is no. Point blank period. Climate Activists often fall short when it comes to seeing past their nose in terms of both the positive and negative economic impacts a drop or spike in cheap energy will have on the international economy. This is especially true in a world where people are socially engineered to look for and are addicted to cheap goods, services, and prices. Moreover, they can’t comprehend the adverse social impact that will occur when there is a significant drop in cheap energy on the world stage. Furthermore, their logic fails to account for nations that simply don’t care about decreasing their carbon footprint. And their logic fails further when it comes to people who hold the inexplicable perspective of: “I’m going to die anyway – so whatever.”

The truth is that in order for humans to decrease their carbon footprint everything would have to be carbon neutral. And that’s virtually impossible as we enter the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Questions such as who’s going to mine the earth metals and elements without the use of carbon and build the computer parts and housing without the use of carbon should come to mind. If you haven’t asked these questions yourself – then it’s safe to say you just might be as shortsighted as many of these Climate Activists are.
