CERAWeek 2025 recap | VEDA Communications | Video by Michael Thervil

If you didn’t take the time out to attend CERAWeek 2025, it’s safe to say that you really missed out on a lot. During our time there, VEDA Communications had the opportunity to speak and connect with some of the brightest minds and top tier CEOs in the industries of technology, artificial intelligence, oil and gas, energy, and geopolitics. We also had the opportunity to hear what various heads of state had on their minds as well during CERAWeek 2025. The one thing that we were able to take away from CERAWeek 2025 was that it’s in the interest of everyone, no matter where you’re located in the world, to not only help find a solution to energy sustainability and efficiency; but take the time out to understand how energy is vital to the connection of us all.

The biggest con that we saw at CERAWeek 2025 was that Black Americans were nearly invisible during the 5-day conference. With Black Americans having well over a trillion dollars in spending power while having some of the lowest numbers of graduates in the STEM fields, it should have been absolutely mandatory that all HBCU’s, especially students from Texas Southern University (as they are literally down the street) and Prairie View A&M should’ve been in attendance. Houston’s own Houston Community College should have also made it a priority to send their students to CERAWeek 2025.

We at VEDA Communications can’t say it enough – CERAWeek 2025 was an absolute great experience that allowed us to see firsthand how the best of the best in the world are able to do what they do in their respective fields and the solutions that they are coming up with to solve the energy problems of the world. The world needs more energy – the question is how much energy are you willing to expel to help find a solution to the world's future energy needs and demands.
