Today officially is the day that the Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Celebrity Classic starts. As always, it's always a pleasure to bring you the best in sports in and around the great City of Houston. Today's games, which are being held at Minute Maid Park, started at 11:05am kicking off with Alcorn State University vs. Southern University. Although the crowd for the first game day is expected to be light due to baseball lovers & fans having to either spend their time at school or work; trust and believe that as the day progresses into the weekend, more fans and lovers of baseball will be in attendance.
The rest of today’s HBCU baseball lineup continues with Jackson State vs. Texas Southern University at 3:05pm. Following that match-up will be Prairie View A&M vs. Grambling State University at 7:05pm. Keep in mind that tickets start at $10.00 per person upon entry.
Currently the final scores of tonight's matchups are as follows: Southern University winning against Alcorn State University 10-4. The following game between Jackson State University vs. Texas Southern University, resulted in Texas Southern University winning 9-5. The last game of the evening; Prairie View University A&M vs. Grambling State University resulted in Prairie View University A&M dominating Grambling State University by 10-5.
