Yesterday marked the first day of The Astros Foundation College Classic. If you weren't in the crowd, then shame on you. However, you’ll have a 2nd and 3rd chance to watch some of the best university baseball teams play their hearts out on the diamond. Keep in mind that this is a three-game baseball series that will be going on Friday through Sunday at Minute Maid Park, home of the 2-time MLB World Champions Houston Astros.
Yesterday baseball matchups are the following:
11:05 Houston vs. Texas State
3:05 Louisiana vs Vanderbilt
7:05 LSU vs. Texas
With the Pitchers throwing the ball at 90 plus miles an hour to hearing the crack of the bat and watching players run and steal bases; it’s going to be nothing but All-American fun. So, if you're in Houston Texas and the surrounding cities and towns, make sure you come out to Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros; and join the crowd for The Astros Foundation College Classic. Tomorrows university 9-game baseball matchups will feature the following teams:
Vanderbilt vs Houston
Texas state vs. Texas
Louisiana vs. LSU
