It's Saturday with great weather, and that means it's a great day for baseball in the City of Houston and surrounding areas. Last night's series of university baseball games were great with the game between LSU vs. Texas taking the cake for the biggest crowd since the Astros Foundation College Classic started. Today's 3-game series of baseball games will have the following universities battling it out on the diamond:
Vanderbilt vs Houston
Texas State vs. Texas
Louisiana vs. LSU
The most anticipated matchup for today looks like it will be Louisiana vs. LSU. The only reason why we’re saying this is because of how much the LSU fans decided to show up and show out during last night's game. With that being said, make sure you come out to Minute Maid Park, home of the World Champion Astros and enjoy The Astros Foundation College Classic. We promise you'll have a great time that will be filled with food, drinks and fun. Remember, if you're unable to make it to the games today; just know that you'll have one more time tomorrow as it will be the last day of the 9-game baseball series hosted by The Astros Foundation College Classic.
