DEAR PALESTINE: THE WORLD DOESN’T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU

Is it time to admit the obvious or should the world allow the Palestinian genocide to continue? The reason why this question is being asked is because it seems as if not only the Arab world but the world in general has turned not only a closed eye to what’s going on in Gaza, but it appears that they have turned its back on both the people of Gaza and the state of Palestine as a whole. This is not to say that there haven’t been mass protests around the world, and this is not to say that the International Criminal Court of Justice hasn’t ruled in favor of the arrest of the Israeli Prime Minister [name], because they have. But these actions are largely seen as symbolic with no real teeth to say the least.

The biggest blunt of the blame should be placed at the feet of all the Arab nations within West Asia. The reason for this is because they have allowed countries that have demonstrated time after time again that they are only there to secure their own self-interest and cause division in West Asia. This is not to say that this is a bad thing if a country seeks to secure their self-interest elsewhere in the world, but when foreign countries attempt to fulfill their own self-interest while sowing seeds of chaos to the detriment of the country they are operating and exploiting, that is another matter.

The truth of the matter is protesting and marching will not benefit the people of Gaza and Palestine. In fact, neither will legislative nor legal rulings. The only thing that will and can help the people of Gaza and Palestine is a military force that is equal to or greater than Israel and the Collective West. This is a hard pill to swallow, especially when it comes to addressing the complex issue of world economics. War not only costs lives, but it costs money. Supporting our position here at VEDA Communication is the fact that it took American President-Elect Donald Trump to threaten to stop militarily backing NATO countries if they didn’t spend the agreed upon 2% of their national GDP to cover their collective military expenditures.

What’s happening in West Asia, specifically in Gaza, is not an accident. Instead, it is the result of years of geopolitical leaders doing nothing to check the situation on the world stage. Even more than that, the political leaders within West Asia have demonstrated that they are willing to do more talking than fighting when it comes to protecting both the lives of the people and their national interests of their respective countries. By allowing their shared fear of the United States and the Collective West to cloud their judgments on how to best govern their countries for the betterment of their societies, they spend time bullshiting and neglecting to both talk about solutions and how to enforce those solutions to secure their countries.

Because of the vast majority of Arab leader’s willingness to bullshit and engage in meaningless talks that amount to no action, it has given rise to a significant number of extremist and terrorist organization who feel that it’s their responsibility to act on behalf of their people because their governments have failed to provide economic opportunities for development and growth; as well as stability for their people. So, the position of the world not giving a fuck about the Palestinian people is a true statement because it was historically said: “never mind what a man says, watch what he does”. This is the true gauge in knowing what’s important to a man.

The world, especially the Arab world has turned its back on the Palestinian people, just like the world has turned its back on Haiti, Sudan, Rwanda, Libya, Yemen, and it’s almost a guarantee for the world to turn its back on Syria. The best thing for the people of Palestine is to strike a deal with a major nation willing to back it with weapons and a fighting force so that it can get in the habit of defending themselves and practicing self-determination.
