HEZBOLLAH LAUNCHES SUCCESSFUL ATTACK ON ISRAEL

It's well-known across the globe that Israel cannot defeat Hamas, Ansuallah, nor Hezbollah. Even in the face of Israel failing to meet any of its long-term combat objectives, the Iranian backed Hezbollah has again demonstrated its undying commitment to not only resist but stop Israel from invading Lebanon, but to also fulfill their second commitment; and that is to continuing to strike Israel in a war of attrition for their internationally recognized genocide in both Palestine and Gaza. This past Sunday, Hezbollah successfully struck 40 miles deep into Israel using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s) commonly known as drones carrying explosives. The type of drones that were utilized to carry out this assault by Hezbollah was the “Ababil” drones.

The target of the Hezbollah drone strike was the Golani Brigade base. Officially it was reported that roughly 4 IDF soldiers were killed with roughly 70 other soldiers that were either seriously wounded or injured. It’s a common practice for militaries all over the world not to reveal official military casualties to the public as that information can be used for intelligence gathering purposes by the opposing side. In knowing this, it’s safe to assume that the true number of IDF casualties and injured are underreported to the Press.

Underreported or not, Hezbollah’s resilience and ingenuity on the battlefield are considered to be highly effective. In light of Israel breaking international law by committing a war crime in Lebanon through the weaponization of consumer technology, goods, and services in hopes of disabling one of Hezbollah’s primary means of communication. In doing so, Israel’s actions have turned out to be nothing more than a short-lived, mediocre effort to disrupt Hezbollah’s primary methods of coordination. Backing our position here at VEDA Communications is Daniel Sobelman, who is an International Security Expert at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In an interview with CNN, he recently stated regarding Hezbollah’s assault that:

“It is a clear indication that Hezbollah is regaining its strategic balance following the recent devastating blows to its leadership and command and control apparatuses.”

The weaponization and use of drones on the battlefield is nothing new. However, when it comes to the effectiveness of drones in the sovereign state and annexed territories of Israel the devastation of drone warfare by Hezbollah is something new. The main reason for this is because neither Israel’s Iron Dome nor David's Sling, both of which, are surface-to-air rocket and missile guided defense systems (SAM), cannot and have consistently failed to effectively deter, detect, and or stop small guided weaponized drone systems in Israeli airspace. This terrifies Israel because they seem to have a hard time processing the fact that even with the backing of the United States, they are still able to be touched by Hezbollah. This diminishes their confidence in being immune to Hezbollah’s military assaults.

When it comes to Israel like the United States and the Collective West in general, although they may have predicted the robust effectiveness of drone warfare on the battlefield, it's safe to say that they have no real consistent countermeasure to intercept or stop the highly damaging effects of weaponized drones. It was reported that for every so-called countermeasure that Israel comes up with, Hezbollah finds a way to counter it. That speaks to the level of sophistication and resolve those entities like Hezbollah has within their ranks. The question is how long will Israel last before Hezbollah’s war of attrition takes a complete toll on Israel and the IDF, before  it/they implode?
