The Dynamo return to the Pacific Northwest for a Sunday Night Soccer match up versus the Portland Timbers on March 30, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT at Providence Park. Fans can watch the game via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. Houston is coming off another important road point in a scoreless draw at Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, as Houston secured their second clean sheet of the season. Goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer and Midfielder Júnior Urso both made their first Dynamo league starts, while goalkeeper Blake Gillingham made his Dynamo and MLS debut in replacement of an injured Maurer in the 67th minute. It marked the first time an MLS rookie has played in goal for the Dynamo since Nov. 3, 2021 (Kyle Morton). Defender Erik Sviatchenko also made his 50th MLS regular season appearance. Additionally, Midfielder Nico Lodeiro made his return to Seattle, as the Uruguayan international played a pivotal role in the Sounders’ success over the past decade, winning three trophies, including the MLS Cup in 2016 and 2019, as well as the Concacaf Champions League in 2022.

Dynamo Dos closed their two-game season-opening homestand with a 5-1 victory versus North Texas SC on Sunday night behind goals from Midfielder Enrique Correa, forward Exon Arzú, Dynamo 2 Captain Diego Gonzalez, Midfielder Lukas Bruegmann and forward Myles Gardner. The win saw four more Dynamo Academy players make their professional debuts in Correa, forward Faraji Ramani, Defender Omar Flores and forward Sebastiao Nzita, as well as first starts with Dynamo 2 in Midfielder Noah Betancourt and Defender Gavin Wolff. The team next travels to face Ventura County FC on Wednesday, March 26 for their first road trip of the season before returning home to host Minnesota United FC 2 on Sunday, March 30 at Shell Energy Stadium.
