Saturday's game between the Houston Dash and the Los Angeles Angel City FC was a great match. With roughly 5,000 Houston Dash fans in attendance, it was a game night that not only brought out the aggression between the two teams, but it brought out the frustration of the Houston Dash fans as well. This was because the crowd perceived that the referees were giving bad calls throughout the game. The aggression between the Houston Dash and the Angel City FC resulted in the Houston Dash receiving two Yellow Cards and the Angel City FC receiving 1 yellow card with no Red Cards obtained by either team.
The Houston Dash fell behind when it came to shots taken with Angel City FC taking 14 shots and the Dash taking 9. The Houston Dash also fell behind when it came to shots on target with 1 to Angel City’s FC 5. Even though it was a good game the Houston Dash was also down when it came to ball possession, 41% to Angel’s City’s FC 59%. Angel City also led when it came to passes 441 to the Houston Dash’s 314.
In terms of pass accuracy between the two teams, Angel City FC led with a 79% pass accuracy to the Houston Dash’s 64% passing accuracy rate.
