It was an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to not only to meet and interview Joseph A. Elmore Jr., but it was also an opportunity of a lifetime to work on the film set of his latest film entitled: “CompleXX: The Two Exes”. Before we get into our firsthand experience working on set with Joseph A. Elmore Jr., we must first take the time out to tell you some key things about him. Before residing in Houston Texas, he was born in Buffalo New York where he attended Canisius University which is also located in Buffalo New York. Fast forward to today, he has created, written, casted, directed, and sealed distribution deals for his films. Knowing that, it can be said that he is indeed a one-man band, when it comes to filmmaking.
What we love about Joseph A. Elmore Jr. is his resilience, drive, and most of all, his passion for filmmaking. With that being said, it should be noted that although he lives in Houston Texas, his films are well known internationally. To date Joseph A. Elmore Jr. has written over 20 films and directed 19 films to his credit. When it comes to independent filmmaking, Joseph A. Elmore Jr. is considered a powerhouse amongst his peers. Out of all the films and television credits to his name, Joseph A. Elmore Jr. is mainly known for the following films:

His newest film that should be released very soon: “CompleXX: The Two Exes”, was the film that we were able to provide some behind the scenes/set photography for. Our take on it is that it was a very exciting experience to see his directing style and vision throughout all the takes on his film set. What we mean by this is that when it comes to his directing style and vision, it is clear cut – he knows what he wants. Another thing that caught our attention is that his characters have a certain level of depth to them, that adds a sort of dynamic hidden and complexity to both the storyline and to all the characters of his films.
Besides filming CompleXX: The Two Exes”, Joseph A. Elmore Jr. also has two other films out on the market that are currently completed, those films are entitled: “Everyone Hates Christmas” and “The Undeserving”.
