Israel: The Extrajudicial Killing Of Hezbollah Leader Fuad Shukr

Written by Michael Thervil

Yesterday In yet another major escalation in west Asia, Israel took the liberty of engaging in the extrajudicial killing of a Hezbollah senior military commander by the name of Fuad Shukr. This extrajudicial killing of Fuad Shukar during an airstrike in Beirut, Lebanon, comes on the heels of Israel's killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. The killing of Faud Shukr couldn’t come at an even worse time than yesterday as it appears that any diplomatic talks of a ceasefire in Gaza or within the Golan Heights region (Syria land annexed by forcefully Israel) are completely off the table. With that being said, many people in the region and elsewhere around the world are wondering how Hezbollah is going to respond to such attacks by Israel within the border of Lebanon.

America, who continues to aid to Israel in the form of weapons, regardless of how many people they kill stated that they had no idea of Israel’s actions, but while denying any involvement in the extrajudicial killing of Fuad Shukr, it seems that America is not condemning the airstrike that Israel executed which left several innocent people killed. From the perspective of many, it appears that no one, not even the United States can exert any kind of influence and/or control over Israel, in stopping them from being the catalysis that is sure to widen the preexisting wars in the region. According to Israel, this airstrike was executed because of the rocket attack that they blamed on Hezbollah from over the weekend that killed 12 children.

However, when it comes to Israel’s justification of Tuesday’s rocket attack, many people are raising their bullshit flags up in anger. This is because there is video footage floating around that seems to show the Israelis firing that same rocket which backfired, thus resulting in the deaths of the same of the 12 children that Israel is using as a justification for this airstrike. But there is an even deeper question that should come to mind and that is:

“What and how long will it take for not only Hezbollah and Hamas, but for all Arab nations to come together in solidarity to confront Israel?”

This question is relevant because many geopolitical pundits subscribe to the notion that Arab countries “talk too much and hardly ever do shit” with the only exception being Ansarallah and a handful of “Islamic Extremists”. Speaking of Extremists, some people find it odd that the term Extremists only apply to people within the Arab world who have the courage to say “no” to America and the Collective West and actually back that line drawn in the sand with bullets and rockets with no remorse.

Another issue that collective minds around the world are drawing a conclusion to is that Arab countries like Saudi Arabia and Dubai care too much about money. And they do so to the point that they will turn a blind eye to the not only the genocide that is going on in Gaza, but they’re willing to turn both a blind eye and cheek to the extrajudicial killings that Israel are executing against other Arabs throughout West Asia with impunity.

When it comes to the Extrajudicial killing of Hezbollah leader Fuad Shukr, the world is waiting in anticipation of what the widening war in the West Asian region would look like? These thoughts are followed up with questions of how the world markets and industries will respond. The ideas of what the region could expect if major powers such as America and Iran getting involved also come to mind. But what tops all of this is how far these warring countries are willing to take this war and to what extent; nuclear? The reason why we’re bringing this to your attention is because the only people who suffer when there’s chaos in the world on this level are the average people around the world.
