Wrapping up the Fayez Sarofim & Co. ATP 250 U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship, the final match of the tournament boiled down to Jenson Brooksby vs. Frances Tiafoe with Jenson Brooksby being the winner of the match. It was easy to see from the fans during this historic match that they were exceptionally excited to see these two legends go head-to-head on the prestigious clay court of Houston’s own River Oaks Country Club. This match was not only full of surprises but full of dynamic plays between the two competitors. With Frances Tiafoe demonstrating power and strength on the court and Jenson Brooksby demonstrating strategic speed and agility, it was anyone's game – at first.

 

Looking at the statistics for this game starting with Frances Tiafoe, he scored 9/12 (75%) when it came to net points won, 16 winners, and 26 unforced errors. In terms of service points won he scored 26/55 (47%). Looking at Frances Tiafoe score in the area of return points won he was able to obtain 20/58 (34%) and for total points won, Frances Tiafoe scored 46/113 (41%).

Comparing the winner, Jenson Brooksby, who played with both passion and courage and played a fantastic game throughout the entirety of the tournament scored 5/10 (50%) for net points won, 25 winners, and 17 unforced errors on the court. Looking at service points won by Jenson Brooksby he scored 38/58 (66%), with 25 winners, and 17 unforced errors. In other variables, he scored 38/58 (66%) in service points one, 29/55 (53%) return points won, and lastly 67/113 (59%) in total points won. final score was Jenson Brooksby 6-6, Frances Tiafoe 4-2.

 

What we like about Jenson Brooksby here at VEDA Communications is that no matter how far he may have fallen behind during a few matches, he was always able to make a comeback; and America loves comebacks, therefore America loves Jenson Brooksby.
