We have known Khalid Rasheed for over 3 years now and we think it’s about time that you get to know him as well. One of Houston Texas favorites, Khalid Rasheed has been a beacon of light for the entire community. From creating and hosting his awards shows; to interviewing and publishing the most prominent people in Houston and abroad; to reaching out to the community and giving back if it’s something positive for the residents of Houston Texas he has done it. Mr. Rasheed for all of your past and continued work in the future we would like to say thank you on the behalf of the citizens of Houston.
During the video interview we conducted with him he touched on his humble beginnings, and he also spoke on his upcoming projects as well. Even more than that he espoused his positions on certain topics that not only pertain to himself but topics that he genuinely believes people should know about. Over the course of us knowing and working with Mr. Rasheed, we have found that he’s always been consistent and transparent with not only his beliefs, but also with his work ethic when it comes to his magazine and his character.
As an alumnus of Texas Southern University, he has always utilized his media platforms as a force for good; not only highlighting the special people of Houston and abroad, but for the prestigious institutions of Texas in general. Worthy of note, he is the reason why I had the opportunity to be a sports photographer to this day. It is also because of Mr. Rasheed owner of both Pulse Magazine and For The H Magazine that I’ve been inspired to start VEDA Magazine and do the things that I do as a Photojournalist here. Again, we at VEDA Magazine and all the citizens of Houston and beyond would lie to take the opportunity to say thank you for all the years of your hard work and the added value you have brought to Houston Texas and abroad.
