Tonight is looking really promising for the TSU men's basketball team. Currently in the first quarter TSU is leading Southern University's men's basketball team 37-23. In an exceptionally fast paced game TSU has managed to maintain the lead by playing strong defense and offense in and outside the paint combined with great ball movement. On top of that TSU also maintained great game momentum throughout the entire duration of the game. From the jump ball to the end of the first quarter the TSU men's basketball has been keeping the crowd cheering and shouting out words of encouragement to any TSU player that can hear them on the court.
However, this is not to say that the Southern University men’s basketball team isn’t doing their thing on the court. Even though they are currently trailing Texas Southern State University by 14 points by the start of half-time, they too are demonstrating that they are strong from the outside, as well as the paint. But good or not, Southern University is a team that’s not to be underestimated. In the middle of the second quarter with the score being 52 (TSU) to 36 (southern university), a lot of people in the crowd are making the bet between themselves that TSU will win this game against Southern University.
Without a doubt, it can be said that both teams played a great game tonight. The final score of the Texas Southern University vs Southern University men’s basketball game was 68 (TSU) - 56 (Southern University).
