Men’s Health Erectile Dysfunction “ED”

Updated: Sep 28, 2023

As you already know or should know, a healthy diet and exercise is something all men need and should engage in. And despite this public health knowledge, men all over the world but especially in America seem to ignore this medical fact. In some countries like America, due to social norms and expectations men often have to put their health on the backburner in order to work and bring home enough income to either maintain their lifestyle or to feed their families. The question is: what happens when you work so much that you’re essentially forced to neglect your diet to the point that your penis (dick, cock, buddy, Johnson – whatever you want to call it) stops working? This is the uncomfortable plight that according to National Library of Medicine:

“In the US, over 30 million men are afflicted by Erectile Dysfunction. In the same study, it’s projected that 322 million men will have Erectile Dysfunction by 2025—a 207% increase—with most new cases happening in developing nations in Africa, Asia, and South America.”

We’re talking about Erectile Dysfunction or “ED”. It’s no laughing matter. So, what is it like to experience Erectile Dysfunction? It often begins by noticing that you don’t wake up “hard” (no pun intended) or have no recollection of having an erection for an extended period of time. ED also manifests itself in the form of difficulty achieving and maintaining an erection when it’s time to have sex. Another possible symptom occurs when a man wants to, and is mentally ready to have sex, but feels like there is some kind of “wall” or “blockage” separating the mind and the body which results in the man feeling frustrated. It's frustrating for men that suffer from ED because he wants to have sex and because all the feelings are there, but he physically can’t.

When men face Erectile Dysfunction, they tend not to suffer alone. What we mean by this is that their wives, significant other(s), side pieces, and fuck buddies tend to suffer as well. When it comes to the sexual partner(s) in men’s lives and ED most men are ashamed and embarrassed to bring it up and talk about it with not just their sexual partners(s) but to anyone. When this happens, Erectile Dysfunction can leave their sexual partner(s) feeling rejected and over time it can lead to their sexual partner exhibiting signs of anger and resentment. It also leads their sexual partners questioning if “they were or are good enough” for the man in their life. Even more importantly, it can and often does lead men’s wives and significant others to have an extramarital affair. There have been some cases in which the wife of a man suffering from ED has led the wife to divorce her husband.

There are many variables that can lead to what is known as “ED” that can either be boiled down to one or a combination of variables that lead to men experiencing Erectile Dysfunction. Variables such as high stress, low testosterone in men which is on the rise, diabetes, mental health issues, anxiety, clogged or blocked arteries which prevent healthy blood flow, certain types of medications, vitamin deficiencies, drug use, obesity, metabolic syndrome, some blood pressure medication, sleep disorders, depression, smoking, relationship issues, high blood pressure and of course hypertension. For many men around the world, they tend to face multiple health issues at once with no relief in sight.

Again, for many men facing ED it’s just simply “too hard” (no pun intended) to maintain a healthy work life balance especially in both the developed and developing nations in the world. The next big question is: is Erectile Dysfunction avoidable?”. The answer lies between both “yes” and “no”. Experts seem to agree that most men will experience Erectile Dysfunction at some point in their lives – even for a short period of time. But there is no cure for the men that tend to acutely or chronic suffer from Erectile Dysfunction. One of the things that men can do is cut the amount of sugar they consume. Don’t forget that sugar comes in many forms: candy, desserts, bread, starchy foods, alcohol, can pop (soda), juices, the excessive intake of carbohydrates, and certain fruits are also very high in sugar content. All of which can kill a man’s dick (penis). Of course, exercise plays a role as stated before.

For many men, the creation of Viagra has been a godsend – especially when it first came out. But like liquid courage (liquor), it’s only a temporary solution to a long-term problem. Because of advances in the pharmaceutical industry, men that suffer from ED have other options available to them now than what they did decades ago. Phosphodiesterase–5 Inhibitors or “PDE-5 Inhibitors” come in pill form from companies like Cialis, Blue Chew, Sildenafil, Staxyn and or Levitra come into play. PDR-5 Inhibitors bind to PDE-5 already within the body and inhibit cGMP Hydrolysis which in turns enhances the effects of the nitrogen in the body. This in turn acts on the cells of smooth muscle tissue within a man’s dick/penis thus regulating the contraction and relaxation of his dick/penis. Hence helping to achieve and or prolonging an erection.

The final question is where can you get it? If you feel the need to get any of the above-mentioned medications, like any medication, please consult with your doctor first. If you are looking for a solution that is more discreet, you can go to HIMS.com. All you must do is answer a few questions, pay the fee, and you should be back in action in no time. Life happens to us all – but when it does you either “go hard or go home” (no pun intended even though that joke should put a smile on your face.)

Sidenote: if you’re a man and you come across any women that makes jokes about men facing Erectile Dysfunction – feel free to ask them why either why according to the CDC (Center For Disease Control) 60% of most women don’t breastfeed their own kids or why according to National Geographic and the National Institute Of Health (respectively) why there is a sharp rise in women who can’t produce or produce an insufficient milk supply out of their own tits/breast to feed their own babies. Just giving you some intellectual bricks and bats to use when you need them.
