Starting from yesterday (Friday, February 2, 2024) to Sunday (February 4, 2024) the MLB will be hosting a special event entitled the “Houston Winter Invitational”. This special annual event is being held at Minute Maid Park (Houston Astros stadium). Several university baseball teams are competing in this special MLB event. The universities that are participating in this 3-day annual special event are as follows:
Southern New Hampshire
St. Cloud State
Central Missouri
Tampa
Millersville
Arkansas Tech
Friday's games consisted of Southern New Hampshire vs. St. Cloud State (10am), followed by Arkansas Tech vs Tampa (1:30pm), and ending with Central Missouri vs Millersville (5pm). Although the stadium was not as packed as when the World Champion Astros play; it's still considered a major treat by all baseball enthusiasts to watch the featured university baseball teams go head-to-head in a professional setting that only a major league baseball stadium can offer. Tickets to each of the events cost roughly $18 for adults and $9 for children and as always children under the age of 2 are free when accompanied by an adult that has purchased a ticket to attend this special MLB event.
