We recently had the opportunity to be on set at the “Chattin' With Chelsea” to capture behind the scenes interview footage on Houston’s FOX 26 with host Chelsea Edwards and Mrs. Universe pageant queen, Dr. Meenakshi Ravi. Although short, it was a fascinating interview which revealed how Dr. Meenakshi Ravi knew absolutely nothing about pageants, to being the current title holder of Mrs. Universe. Without giving away any spoilers, we can say this, from Dr. Meenakshi Ravi coming from India, earning her Doctorates, and accomplishing as much as she has her story in both impressive and inspirational. Stepping into the studio with a fabulous dress and brilliant but alluring smile it's safe to say that Dr. Meenakshi Ravi captivated the viewers and stole the show.
From touching on topics such as traditional pageantry, and how pageantry has changed over the decades to motherhood, to her career, her educational background, and pageantry tips and tricks; this interview provided insight into how and why Dr. Meenakshi Ravi simply had to be crowned as Mrs. Universe. What we like about Dr. Meenakshi Ravi is how infectious her personality is as well as how much she loves to be in front of the camera. As always, Dr. Meenakshi Ravi is photo ready at any given time, she does a great job at reflecting what beauty pageantry is all about. Her walk is just as graceful as she is, and her conversation is nothing short but attention grabbing.
