Today it was announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the Israeli government will be cutting off electricity and water in conjunction with blocking aid to the people of Gaza and the west bank. This comes in the heels of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) executing a bombing yesterday near Khan Younis that killed 5 Palestinians and wounded roughly 21 others during a funeral procession. Many people around the world and especially those within the Arab countries find this despicable because all of this is taking place during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

The reason cited by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was stated today during a Press Conference in which he stated the following:

“Upon the conclusion of the first stage, and in light of Hamas's rejection of the Witkoff Framework, we decided at last night's discussion that as of this morning the entry of goods and supplies into Gaza will be prevented. It must be emphasized that Hamas currently controls all of the supply and goods that are being sent into the Gaza strip. It is abusing the Gazan population that it is trying to receive and the aid it is shooting and is turning the humanitarian aid into a budget for terrorism directed against us. to this we will not agree in any way.  If Hamas continues to stick to its position and does not release our hostages there will be additional consequences which I will not detail here. As of today, we have returned 196 hostages, and I remind you that at the start of the war there were those who doubted our ability to return one hostage.”

For the Israeli government, these new acts forced upon the people of Gaza, which would fall under the Geneva Conventions definition of genocide are in step with its plan to apply what they call “maximum pressure” on Hamas. However, the only thing that it's going to do is further exacerbate the problematic conditions that the people of Palestine are facing in terms of food, health, shelter, and disease. It should be said in light of this new and disturbing information, geopolitical pundits are predicting that the actions of Israel in the region will do nothing but unite Arab nations under one cause; and that cause is to destroy Israel.

Keep in mind that because of America's lack of diplomatic relations with Iran, Iran has little to no incentive to exercise restraint when it comes to attacking Israel. This situation also brings Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, U.A.E., Türkiye, Iraq, Kuwait, Syria, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and possibly Pakistan into the picture.

This shed light on the possibility of a new type of Israeli resistance brewing in the region consisting of the possibility of all Arab countries preparing to go to direct war with Israel. Tomorrow, emergency talks will be held in Cairo, Egypt that is supposed to be centered on the rebuilding of Gaza in terms of construction. But with Israel blatantly violating the ceasefire agreement, combined with Israel cutting Palestine people off from electricity, medical, food, and water.

Tomorrow’s talk in Egypt might be less about construction and more about security. For any Arab country to stand by while Israel does what it's doing to the Palestinian people during their holy month of Ramadan, will immediately invoke backlash to any Arab country that is willing to stand by and let that happen. The world is standing by to see what will come out of tomorrow's meeting.
