See the Flash Movie on Amazon Prime
We have to say when The Flash television series first came on Netflix, we were initially skeptical. However, it turned out to be a really good show that stayed true to the comic book character. Fast forward to 2023 and the world has been presented with The Flash movie. Now, like anyone else around the world, we love to have the opportunity to watch a good movie; and The Flash movie now falls into that category.

However, before we had the chance to watch it, we were somehow bombarded by armchair movie critics that cautioned me not to watch it. They would say things like it was “too goofy”. Or it was not shot that well, and we even had one person tell us that the film “simply didn’t make any sense”. We found none of that to be true in any case. It wasn’t goofy, in fact it kept pace with the “nerdiness” of a younger Barry. Give the kid a break, he just graduated from the 8th grade and was in his freshman year in high school. Also, if you’re looking for the ultra-beautiful Candice Patton to reprise her role as Iris, you’ll be disappointed to know that she turned down the role for the film.

As fans of the Flash, we were looking forward to seeing Candice Patton on the big screen. The reason why she declined to be in the film is because of all the racist people out there that made it hard for her to play her role during the filming of the television series. Again, with us liking the television show, we were also looking forward to Grant Gustin reprising his role as the Flash instead of Ezra Miller. This is not to say that Ezra Miller didn’t do a good job as an actor in this role, but we spent a lot of time watching Grant Gustin during his run on the television series and we just got used to him being the Flash.

For the people that expressed their concerns of the film “not making sense”, it’s a movie (and television show) that adds a lot of physics and science to its script. If you can’t understand the science aspects of the series and movies, please don’t say that the movie doesn’t make sense. We would strongly suggest that you consider putting yourself on the academically challenged list. In fact, if you look out your window to the right, there’s a short yellow bus by the curb. That's the one you should be on no later than 2:15pm. Sorry for the rant.

Also included in the Flash movie were both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton reprising both their roles as Batman (present and past). There was also a short appearance by Wonder Woman who is played by the drop-dead gorgeous Gal Gadot. in addition, there was a great appearance of Supergirl played by beautiful Shasta Calle. In any case, the Flash movie was shot well, and the CGI speed force and fight scenes were really entertaining. But don’t take our word for it, take a look at it for yourself.
