Venardos Circus is a revolutionary, animal-free traveling circus that combines the magic of traditional circus arts with the zing of Broadway-style musical theatre. Founded by former Ringling Bros. Ringmaster Kevin Venardos, the circus premiered its first show in 2014 at the LA County Fair. With a limited cast of six performers, the initial show blended aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, hand-balancers, comedians, daredevils, and magicians into a fun and magical spectacle. The Venardos Circus has expanded over the years, and it has done so by expanding its troupe and show repertoire while staying true to its mission of spreading joy and wonder to individuals across the nation.
The Venardos Circus is famous for its intimate performances in a specially constructed, vintage red-and-white striped tent, reminiscent of the golden age of touring circuses. Every show is meticulously crafted to delight both children and adults while offering an unforgettable experience that takes you back to your childhood when the magic, allure, and mystery of circuses were nothing short but amazing. On February 13, 2025, Venardos Circus debuted its newest show, "Far Beyond," at Crown Festival Park in Sugar Land, Texas. The world premiere was a big deal, as it marked the first time the circus unveiled a completely new show to audiences. Not only were we honored to be among the first attendees, but we were also able to bear witness to the Venardos Circus first performance under it's newly redesigned Italian-made tent, that had roomy seating and an immersive atmosphere.

"Far Beyond" celebrates ten years of dreams through a blending of music from previous tours and new performances that push the boundaries of contemporary circus artistry. The show seamlessly integrates interesting performances and fresh musical scores, creating a lively and exhilarating experience. From the moment we arrived, the festive atmosphere was palpable and included pre-show events as well as photoshoots that supplemented the experience. Classic circus treats like popcorn, cotton candy, and homemade pink lemonade were available, adding to the nostalgic value. The headliner was approximately 90 minutes in length and included a brief intermission during its course of captivating audiences with its new acts and emotive performances.
The opening night of "Far Beyond" showcased not only the evolution of Venardos Circus but also ratified its commitment to reimagining the American circus tradition for modern times. For those who are ready to be a part of this magical spectacle, "Far Beyond" will be showing at the Crown Festival Park which is located at 18355 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77479, and the performance dates from February 13 – March 2, 2025. Tickets start at roughly $17.00 and are only available on the official Venardos Circus website, with a variety of seating options to accommodate every palate. Whether a seasoned veteran or a newcomer to the world of circus arts, Venardos Circus promises an experience "Far Beyond" the ordinary.
