The first thing you will notice about Tom Thorne is that he's exceptionally sharp. When we say sharp, we are going beyond his fashion sense and we’re also including the fact that he is a man of vision with all the experience to back it up. He’s also exceptionally well articulate and his voice alone not only projects his reassurance and confidence, but it also has a way of placing you in a place of peace and trust in the fact that he will most definitely take care of you when it comes to pairing you with the best fashion designs that will not only enhance your image, but propel and motivate you to reach your greatness.
Even more than that, as an Influencer, he serves as a beacon of inspiration for all those that are wishing to start their career in the Fashion and Design Industry, seeking to become Image Consultants, and/or seeking to become Influencers in their own right. As a Model Coach we’ve had the opportunity to witness his coaching methods while providing press coverage at the best fashion show to ever come to Houston in decades: “A Night In Paris Fashion Show” which was held earlier this year.

His coaching style is one that demands not only the best from those under his tutelage, but it's strict, professional, well directed, with no room for slackers. His coaching methods will most definitely make any model better than they were before he met them. He is a legend not only in the Fashion Industry but in Houston as well. During our conversation, he stated: [paraphrasing]:
“People think I'm from New York when I'm out and about, and they're shocked when I tell them I'm from Houston Texas; just because you come from someplace doesn't mean that you have to look like the place, you’re from.”
This says a lot about the motivation and drive of Tom Thorne. It denotes the fact that he not only dares to be different, but he's dares to be different with a purpose - and that purpose is to be as creative and fashion forward no matter where you are in life and no matter where you come from because weather you like to admit it or not – your looks and attire matter and perception is everything. Remember perception is the ultimate reality.
During our conversation we had to pick his brain on his thoughts on people (mainly women) who wear bonnets in public. His response to that question is highlighted in his interview with us as we don't want to give away his response before you listen to his interview. While at a Cosmetic Industry event hosted by the one and only Estée Lauder and Dillard’s in the Galleria Mall Houston Texas, he provided fashion tips and consultations for men on the spot within the store.
Professionally answering their questions regarding suits, blazers, and shoes to provide them with the best fashion solutions centered around the modern men’s fashion “Do’s and Don’ts”. As he strategically guided the men on their wardrobe selections, you could see the wheels turning in their heads as he pointed out all the things they needed to know when it comes to furnishing their wardrobe.

We’re saying all that to say this: to have the opportunity to come across a Fashion Guru, Influencer, and Model Coach like Tom Thorne is a rarity; a true diamond in the ruff.
