True Patriots | Eritrean President Isaias & Russian President Putin

Written by Michael Thervil

A passionate but stern table talk between President Isaias of the African nation of Eritrea with President Putin and his administration could be considered to be a heartfelt one that was very much needed. Many people will disagree with the message President Isaias is presenting to President Putin. However, there are just as many if not more people that agree with this conversation. It seems that many people in Africa feel as if there should be a change and that Russia should lead the way against the “Collective West”.

Ladies and gentlemen, what you are looking at are true patriots sitting across from each other. These men are demonstrating what transparency and open dialogue looks like. What’s funny here is that there are so many people in America that feel the same way that President Isaias feels when he talks about American led hegemony and colonization. The fact that President Isaias knows both the history and plight of the Native Americans and American Black People says a lot. In fact, it could be said that if you are a minority or person of color in the United States and abroad, you should be able to relate to the words of President Isaias.

What anyone of sound logic and judgment can appreciate from President Isaias is that he is calling for an end to the “Cold War Mentality”. When you take the time out and look at what the Cold War mentality has brought us, it should be evident that it has done more harm to the world than good. Nations are not only feeling isolated and alienated; but they are getting tired of not being able to conduct business and free trade with other countries for fear of the retaliation of U.S. led sanctions which inevitability causes adverse socio-economic challenges for countries that do not toe the line and blowback for other countries that were not even involved.

Maybe President Isaias is correct in his position that “Ukraine is a sacrifice”. Maybe President Isaias is correct in his position that the countries that have been excluded for so long on the international stage must be ready to stand with Russia to resolve the problem of the Collective West’s hegemony. As always, take the time out to hear what Eritrea President Isaias has to say. Will Russia lead the way against American hegemony? Will countries that have been isolated and alienated for so long stand with Russia? Is President Putin ready to take up the task of dismantling NATO? Let us know how you feel in the comments.
