Many people in the United States are simply getting tired of hearing about former President Trump in the news. It seems just about everyday there is some hooker looking to get famous or boost their notoriety off him. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) can’t get enough of inking his name to some paper; and or there is some attorney somewhere running to the nearest Magistrate or taking out charges on former President Trump. The question is why? For some classified documents that he had in his possession. Let’s not forget the current President Joe Biden also had classified federal documents in his possession that were improperly secured in one of his offices as well.
What the people really want to know is, did he cause any harm to anyone because he had these documents? Did anyone obtain any biased treatment and or governmental contracts that would make the playing field any more uneven than it already is? And the big question that’s on everyone’s mind – are they really going to lock up a former President? We at VEDA Magazine are taking the position that they will not. Why? Because former President Donald Trump is in possession of the one thing that they can’t charge him for and that is his extensive knowledge of state secrets.
Think about it, they can’t put him in a regular state prison, that’s just not going to happen. Secondly, they can’t just stuff him in a regular federal prison cell, not with what Donald Trump knows concerning this country and others. At best they can run him through the ringer and give him a hard time legally, but just because someone has legal troubles doesn’t mean they can’t run for political office. In fact, the question that you have to kind of entertain in your mind is: what if he won the next Presidential Election from a federal prison cell? Do you think this country will allow him to run this country from a prison cell of any kind? The answer is a stark – no.
Remember the entire world is watching and they are both entertained and upset that this country would do this to one of its former heads of state. Given his age of 76 and political status as a former President alone – would it be considered cruel and unusual punishment to imprison him? Currently former President Donald Trump is being charged with 7 criminal counts ranging from mishandling classified documents along with obstruction of justice, to making false statements, to conspiracy, and the willful retention of national defense information.
Keep in mind that there was a time when Donald Trump made the statement of wanting to “drain the swamp” back in 2016, and part of the swamp he was speaking about was the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other federal entities that he deemed to be stifling the success and progress of the United States. Could putting Donald Trump through the political ringer be considered a form of retaliation? Or a mere coincidence.
