First things first, we at VEDA communications would like to formally congratulate President Donald Trump on his win over Vice-President kamala Harris. With that said, many people both in America and across the globe are sitting on the edge of their seats in anticipation of what the election of President Trump means for the international community. Before we get into this topic, we would like to first talk about why we predicted a Kamala Harris win after their face-off at the first presidential debate. Donald Trump during the first debate did not seem to be too well put together. This is not to say that we supported or endorse Kamala Harris, but the optics simply did not look to be in the favor of former President elect Donald Trump.
Another factor that played a role in our prediction at the time was that we know and understand how much the American Press will and can manipulate the American public, thus exercising their ability to shape public opinion. Then there was the weaponization of the legal system against President Trump. Being bogged down by a mountain of legal issues with one leading to a conviction, it was exceptionally hard to see how President Trump would be able navigate through the legal system that has claimed the lives and reputations of so many people around the country.
However, with this recent Trump win, it's safe to say that not only will political payback occur, but China appears to be in the crosshairs of President Trump as well. President Trump’s extremely tough stance on China by him promising to issue 100% tariffs on Chinese goods may seem like a good thing on the surface; but in reality, if he doesn’t have a plan to counter the predicted rise in consumer goods in America because of his implementation of tariffs, Americans will have to eat the rising cost of those goods and products they consume.
Dealing with the American issue of China in the same vein, there's the issue of Taiwan and the “One China Policy”. Like it or not, America depends on Taiwanese semiconductor chip manufacturers to power American technological products. Combined with this American issue with the high tariffs President Trump plans on issuing to China, this will do nothing but further complicate American and Chinese relations and create a trade-war that could lead to something else more devastating to not only America, but the world’s economy.
Then there's the situation of Ukraine, whose President Trump pledged to no longer support economically. It’s a given that Ukraine is a weak country that is losing their war with Russia, but Trump’s victory last night could mean that Russia could possibly reach a deal in which Ukraine is spared from further destruction because of their bid to join NATO.
Then there is the geopolitical disaster of the Israel/Palestine/Hamas/Hezbollah/Ansuallah /Iran/Lebanon War. Again, this sounds like a mouthful, but this is a situation that Israel has put themselves in. President Trump has already stated that he plans to back Israel, but the question that’s on everyone's mind is “to what extent is Trump going to support Israel?”. With Trump's win last night, many people are wondering if Israel is going to formulate a plan that would be conducive to their goals in West Asia. This is especially troubling because Iran is directly involved. The question of if Trump and broker a deal between Israel and Iran is something that’s on everyone's mind. A lot can happen geopolitically in two months as war can escalate between warring countries to astronomical proportions with far reaching consequences and blowback that can last for decades, thus shifting the balance of the international community.
Then there's the BRICS nations who are currently rising to the forefront of global dominance, within roughly 35% of the world GDP in their possession as a collective, Americans are now left facing their loss of dominance on the world stage. For superpowers like China and Russia and developing countries like the Sahel countries of Africa, this is seen as a good thing as the collective geopolitical power of the BRICS is seen as something to be a part of; and in doing so it will provide them with the “leg up” they need in order to not only resist the hegemony of the Collective West but boost their economies so they can compete in all sectors of the international marketplace.
When it comes to domestic issues, social issues like the weaponization of the legal system against Americans, abortion, climate control, drug abuse, guns, immigration, manufacturing and artificial intelligence are on the forefront and must be addressed by President Donald Trump. Truthfully when it comes to abortion, Americans and especially Black Americans can't afford to have their numbers dwindle any further. The reason for this is because the political and economic impact low births rates will have on the socio-economic future of the nation.
Climate control is something no one can do anything about as it's safe to say that the damage has been done. There's simply no controlling drug abuse and addiction, as by the time a new law goes into effect on how to solve the drug issue in America, there’s a new drug of choice that’s invented that takes the place of the previous one. There are so many more issues that President Trump will have to tackle including unforeseen obstacles that will be sure to come up during his next 4 years in office.
We at VEDA communications like all other observers of the geopolitical chessboard are watching to see how he navigates and handles everything that’s been thrown at him since being elected.
