Ukraine Has Lost To Russia – Why Is Biden Still Funding Them?

There's a lot of things that are spiraling downwards into a steep decline in America such as the educational system, rampant inflation, a steep decline in infrastructure, and declining law enforcement numbers. In addition to that, America also has more than its fair share of social issues which include mental health, obesity and other health disparities, homelessness – especially surrounding its military veterans, lack of family structure and let’s not forget the ever-widening socioeconomic income gap between the rich and the poor in conjunction with the obscene amount of student loan debt.

So, the question is why is America still funding Ukraine, especially when it's apparent to the entire world that Ukraine has not only lost the war between themselves and Russia, but Ukraine being known as one of the most corrupt countries in the world? For the overwhelming majority of Americans, they are not only against the giving away of military equipment that has now left American in a bind by the depletion of it’s reserves. But even more than that, that same majority of Americans are appalled at the $75 billion in cash that the Biden Administration has given to President Zelenskyy to fund Ukraine’s war effort, or the lack thereof, because Ukraine has lost the war so there is no effort to be observed.

Many Americans feel as if that money could go to wiping out student loan debt, or modernizing America's infrastructure or even be used to fund America's educational system which is in an extremely deep crisis now. But for whatever reason the Biden Administration seems hell-bent on arming, funding, and supporting Ukraine. To date, the nation of Ukraine has no natural resources that would be advantageous to America. But what they do have is a biological war lab that the United States was either utilizing and/or funding. Again, to what end? The last time anyone checked – the deployment of bioweapons on the battlefield was illegal according to the Geneva Convention Protocol 1925. Keep in mind that the geographic location of Ukraine was strategic to both America and Russia because it served as a buffer zone between the two rival nations. The Minsk Agreements should come to mind.

The rhetoric coming from both the Biden Administration and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is that if America stops funding Ukraine, “it will only embolden Russia”. But as we all know, the Russian government and the people of Russia are very resilient people. They are so resilient that they have essentially defeated the sanctions placed on them by America and the Collective West and they have formed even stronger ties with China and North Korea; see our article on “The Trifecta”. Even more than that Russia has significantly increased their footprint in Africa by providing paramilitary training to stamp down terrorism with a very large degree of success that America could not obtain while it was in the Sahel region.

It’s time that both the Biden Administration and the people of the United States do some soul searching – self reflecting if it will. No matter how apparent it may be – America needs to come to the realization that intervening in such ways regarding other countries’ internal affairs has not served them well for the last 30 years. The Biden Administration should have understood that. The only people that suffer from mistakes and policies such as the ones that the Biden Administration is making daily are the everyday working class and poor people of the United States.
