The Trump Administration has taken its fight directly to illegal aliens that have either overstayed, illegally crossed or were simply let in by the Biden Administration failed immigration policies. Today marks the day that President Trump signed off on the Laken Riley Act. For many Americans this the Laken Riley Act is a very important act that serves as not only as a benchmark but as a deterrence to stop violent illegal aliens as well as a benchmark act that gives Americans back some power that they feel has been taken away from them.
The Laken Riley Act was written by Georgian Republican Representative Mike Collins and is named after slain nursing student Laken Riley. She was a 22-year-old nursing student at Augusta University at the time of her murder on February 22, 2024. The 26-year-old illegal alien whose name is Jose Antonio Ibarra who was reported to have attempted to rape Laken Riley ended up killing her with a large rock during the failed rape. Jose Antonio Ibarra was apprehended the next day at a nearby apartment complex. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
For many Americans, this is a grave misjustice for Laken Riley because through the eyes of many Americans Jose Antonio Ibarra should have been swiftly given the death penalty considering that he’s an illegal alien and thus should not be subjected to any due process, nor the mercy of the American Criminal Justice System. It should also be noted that Americans that hold this view also believe that the criminal justice system has grown too soft when it comes to prosecuting hardened violent criminals, especially when those violent criminals are illegal aliens.
The Laken Riley Act is criticized by some Americans in the fact that they believe that the act leads to racial profiling and the violation of civil liberties. But with an American citizen being killed at the hands of an illegal alien, it's safe to say that the majority of Americans really don’t give a shit. The Laken Riley Act was signed tonight by American President Donald Trump. The Laken Riley Act can be viewed here at VEDA Communications.
